Her name is Cindy and she has a ring on her right leg and is microchipped. She will likely hide for a day or so and then approach someone for food and water. Likely to fly on to a terrace when someone is sitting there. She flew towards Frigiliana so is likely to be near there.

Most grateful that if she shows up to let us know on this forum.

Thanks for any help and advice.

Update - Cindy was sighted in San Rafael Frigiliana area 23 October, but seems happy to travel around!

I am offering a reward for her safe return of €1000.

I am so sorry you are missing your 'Cindy'.  Though I cannot help , have not seen her, I wish to simply express empathy -African Greys are very special beings, and you must be missing her terribly.

we recently 'lost' our African 'Grey, 22-yr-old Parrot, 'Laska', due to a sudden  unexpected cardiac event! Nothing could've been done to predict, or save her. Such a shock. [ we have since learned that greys are particularly prone to arteriosclerosis, as it would be called in humans; and coronary events, for some reason.]

I wish you best luck in finding your dear companion!!

You will post here once she is found, yes?

Many thanks for your message MichelleK.

Very sorry your Grey passed away so early. They are very special and I still miss Cindy a lot. I suspect she was taken in by someone as they usually approach someone when they are hungry and need companionship.

We hope to be re-united one day.

Best wishes

Peter
