Visiting Estepona for first time

Bob,  I think no one has replied for a few reasons:

1. There are soooooooooooooo many restaurants, bars, cafes etc...in Estepona.

2. Depends where in Estepona you will be staying.  If you are near the Port you will find a huge array of eating spots.  If you are in the Old Town, again, walk outside your accommodation and you will have many options.

3. You mentioned what kind of food your friends like and this should be very easy to find here.  Fries with everything!

I usually refer to Estepona as the town of flowers but it could also be the town of cafes and restaurants.  There are many traditional types of Spanish places to eat that have Menu del Dia (usually means pick one item from starter, main dish, desert, include a drink and pay less than 12 euros!)

So, walk around where you come to stay (its a very walkable town) and you will find many delights in Estepona.  Have fun.
