There seems to be a pretty regular bus service from Malaga airport to Estepona, but should I book places in advance or are .there always free seats if you just turn up. I don't want to book and then have a problem because the flight is late or there's some other hold up
The Avanza bus from Málaga airport to Marbella bus station, which is what I use, can get very booked up
I always book online in advance and add an hour to the scheduled flight arrival time.
The bus driver does not except any payment, so if you do arrive at the airport and miss the pre-booked time, it is possible to book another time slot online while there.
It's far cheaper than booking a taxi or staying overnight at a local hotel, so well worth the wait.
