What expat groups are there in the Estepona area? We are new and will arrive in a bit over a month. Looking to meet you. We're from the US and travel often. Thanks in advance.

There are a few but for me they are not really my thing so I can't help with them I'm afraid. What I would say is that if you just get out & about and go about your daily business you will be tripping over people & will make contacts and friends just like you do anywhere else..... walk the board walk, sit on a bench, look at the sea and take in the sun and you'll be surprised how many people end up chatting...for me that's the way to go. Others may have different views of course but it's a friendly enough place..and, let's be honest, you have come or are coming to Spain to be in Spain amongst the Spanish and to embrace the Spanish culture....

Hi nice to know you are coming to Estepona, I  am involved in the foreign residents' association, and we hold quiz nights twice a month we are involved in the town and fundraise for good causes. The town has three major English speaking clubs, they offer different things to do, one is the American Club who are in town they are now nearly all Brits these days but have some of your kinsmen who also crop up at other clubs ,the other two clubs are out of  the town centre one is the C.A.P. club  charity and pleasure, they meet once a week and hold events to raise money for charity. The 3rd club is the ICE club ,they own their own clubhouse and have a mixed nationality membership  of 240 members with a strong events programme ,so when you arrive in Estepona you won't find yourself on your own.  Hope this helps.

Internations have meetings in your area and Marbella. Very nice, professional crowd. Quite a few Americans are members too

Hi Danny,

I have attached amp of where the ICE club is, red pin bottom left. Estepona Marina is Top right. It is about 10 minute drive from Marina.

Good mixture of Nationalities and regular activities. Website is www.theiceclub.es

Not aware oof any expats clubs in Estepona itself.

We live a bit further south in San Luis de Sabinillas and there are many English Bars here and in Puerto de La Duquesa next door.

I hope you enjoy your stay.
