Some advice wanted please. I'm selling my house in Estepona and want to know how I go about selling the contents separately.  Unfortunately, I don't live there so would be flying in for a weekend to sort it out.  Is there any company that would come and view and take the whole lot.  I have some nice pieces.  Any help would be musch appreciated!

I can only offer my thoughts and experience with this situation.  First, you have to accept that you will not get what you want for it.  Perhaps consider taking some of it with you.  Not an option.... then if you want to sell either individually (probably best) or in a lot sale (worst) you will have to forget what you paid for things or you will drag this process on painfully.

I have moved a couple of countries and in the end I gave alot of nice bits to charities.  It was difficult knowing what I had paid but as I said, you have to forget what you paid and be willing to get something over nothing.  Or it will take you alot of time and effort.  If you have the time and are willing to put in the effort perhaps you can get more....but as you said...you are not even here.

Usually the people who buy the lot will give you very little.  I do not know if Eduardo will take it but I hear he is a nice and helpful person and may be worth a chat to.  If he cannot help you, perhaps he can advise you.  You can contact him on WhatsApp.  He is Spanish but does communicate slightly in English - you can use Google Translate to explain to him.  34 675 58 95 55

Another option is to set up a couple of days (or one day) where people can come over.  Arrange all your stuff with good prices and try to sell individually.  Perhaps you can do this first when you are here and then do the lot sale afterward.  You can post this on Facebook Groups for the areas around and about.  There is Manilva Chat which has alot of British members and I am sure there are more in the area you can find and arrange all this before you come here.  Good luck!

I did the Uk to Spain and Kerri is right

Charities are limited on what they can take and then you have to arrange collection etc

Yes a garage sale is a good idea but that will tie you up time wise and again whether you can get what you think is another issue

Ditto if you sold on ebay

Have you offered to the buyers of the house

be aware that if you are not careful you could end up paying someone to take it away!!

place the items on this website??
