Hi Folks.
My friend is visiting in 2 weeks. She would like to go to Gibraltar, we were thinking of getting a bus and spending the day.
Wondering if it is a good idea,. Will there be much to see and do , this time of year.
If Anyone can give any info.

It's well worth a day trip, if not been there, not as nice as many places in Spain. Enough to do and see on a day trip, I'm sure you will enjoy..

Hello have been to Gibraltar on the 240 bus from the port ( outside bull ring) first bus about 6.30am the. 8.30 am then rough every 2 hours. Cost about €7.
This journey. Is ok but the seat are rock hard and it is quite a bumpy ride . When we come back in the evening at around the 6.30pm bus they do nit let tourist buy bus tickets they only sell to the spainish and on few occasions have not been allowed 9n it. They will give you a ticket but at last minute. you cannot pay the driver regardless.
If you get a taxi from the port cost around 50€ if it is not rush hour.
The 240 goes all the way to La Linea and then just follow everyone else. Please check,if you need locator form etc as I am unsure and don’t forget passports.

Oh God, As my friend is only here for the week,and I am not sure about customer,maybe it’s wise not to go. The tour Bus needs x amount to go and it’s too early in the year for that .
I think we will just go to Marbella at somewhere else,

Sorry when said thought worth the trip, did not read you said by Bus, I have been many times but by car.

It works very well, my Spanish friends sister used from Nerja to Mijas this weekend, the place.
I recommend for a day out 'Malaga City, it's fantastic' they will enjoy, best place on the coast, see video link.
