What you see is what you pay...their prices include insurance....I've used them for many years and never ever had a problem. They genuinely don't fanny around adding this and that. You book, they meet you at arrivals, do the paperwork in the arrivals hall, they take you to the car, give you the keys and off you go. On the return, you agree what time you will arrive (when you collect the car), you drive to the short stay car park opposite departures and, like magic, a man jumps out in front of you to take the keys from you. Take the car back with the tank full and that's it...takes two minutes and off you walk into the terminal....it really is that straightforward. I hope that helps :)
Hello everyone!
My husband and I are hopefully moving to Comares very soon, only part time for now until we retire.
Just wondered If there are spanish lessons available in the village at all?
Many Thanks,
Vanessa
Hi folks. Please forgive my paranoia but I’m sitting here in UK thinking my dreams may be shattered in October. Given the Brexit fiasco, I’m wondering if my retirement plans in the Costa del Sol in a few years might be at serious risk. I’m not looking to break the law but I’m wondering if I can apply for any kind of temporary residency permit without living permanently in Spain at the moment? I’m guessing I would need a permanent residence address even though my wife and I are visiting every couple of months to look around and choose an area to live. I may be mad but, if I’m honest, I’m grasping at straws to see if I can pre-empt a no deal Brexit. Worst case this post gives you all a good laugh!!!

H - Remember that some places are very different in the winter, when a lot of bas and restaurants close down. So I suggest you look at places with full time residents not just holiday lets. We started in Cabopino but found it dead in the Winter, so moved to Calahonda. Also renting a car full time will be expensive, so look at areas that you won't need a car - where you can walk to shops etc and close to a bas service. When you do rent at the airport I can recommend Malagarcar, there are no hidden extras, though I never take the insrance upgrade, and you get a 1% discount every time you use them up to a max of 20%.
