Our health insurance is with DKV and costs 64€ per month each.   If you are a British citizen you have to apply for a visa before moving to Spain

If you are a British citizen you can only apply for residencia if you can prove that you were living in Spain before 31 December 2020. If you don’t meet this criteria then you have to apply for a visa before you come to live in Spain. You can apply for a visa from one of the Uk Spanish consulates in London Edinburgh or Manchester.

In your case (75 years old) you can get an S1 certificate from UK and this is accepted by Spain instead of private medical for your visa application. You will still need private medical for your wide but at least its only one policy to pay for
