Drinking water/ general water

Hi.
Does everyone drink tap water in the Competa campo or buy bottled? Has anyone installed a fliter system to remove potential chemicals and minerals. Does anyone know if the water in the area contains nitrates and high levels of calcium?
Also does anyone have a water softener installed and if so what did you install and by whom.
