We will be arriving in Competa soon and living in the campo...
Can anyone tell us if there is a weekly collection of Rubbish knowing what the roads are like to get there.. or do we have to dispose of it ourselves? and if so to where?

You will have to deposit your rubbish in the "basura" (by the side of the road) nearest your home. There are also several sets of recycling bins at various locations, including on the approach to the town and near the Portichuelo Centre on the Torrox road. You'll get used to it soon enough, we promise!
