Does anybody know a car hire company in Competa or a company that drops cars off in Competa? I have contacted 2 companies one inc competacar hire and after several e mails I have had no replies.

I am not aware of any that will do it anymore, it is too costly for them as they have to bring two cars up to the village so the guy who brought your car up has a lift back.
You could always get the bus down to the coast one day and pick one up from Torre del Mar.
