Hi,

I wonder if there is any potential in starting a drawing and painting classes in competa,

Also a cooking class of tapas on a solarium with wine tasting.

Are there already these same classes in Competa or is there space for much classes and activities.

Love your feedback

Thanks x

Hi,

That sounds really interesting and I’m sure it would be popular.    I currently go to a mosaics/sculpture workshop and any craft classes going in Cómpeta.    Let me know if you go ahead with it.

Thank you for your enthusiasm and i shall definately be in touch when I am up and running.

Where would you say is the best place to advertise art and cooking classes?

I also have heard of the mosaic class, could you please let me know where that is.

Thanks x

Thanks for your reply.

I also feel cooking is an amazing recreation and a great way to make friends.

I am looking forward to starting the course in Competa.

Where would you say is the best place to let others know of the class.

Thanks x

Hi Sam,

I’d recommend you join Cómpeta Social on Facebook and the mosaic group is also on Facebook.    For the mosaic group, go to Mosaic and Art Sculpture Group again on Facebook and it’s run by a lovely lady called Moira in the campo above Cómpeta.    We’re in Cómpeta from 3rd Feb if you want to meet up.

Torrox, been looking for cookery classes here, and there aren’t any!! I know a few who would love to join and competa  is a long way up from the coast, particularly if you have to rely on public  transport, maybe a restuarant somewhere with a commercial kitchen?? 🤗🤗

Thanks for letting me know how you feel about the public transport.

When I was in Torrox pueblo I got the hourly bus at 1euro from the village down to Costa. Then I got on the bus to competa for 1.60euro. All great fun way to see the countryside and chat to other expats. The buses to competa are 4 a day which seems practical.

Even though I really enjoyed using the bus I am really glad you told how you felt about the bus service.

That means I must think about how everyone feels doing cooking classes in the country.

I shall be getting a 7 seater vehicle, do you think this would help people have more confidence going into the country.

Thanks x
