Please check out this link. It will provide all the answers for you. The Rules are very fluid  and change all the time.

For persons resident in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland coming directly from this country, in addition to the vaccination certificate, diagnostic certificates of NAAT tests (nucleic acid amplification tests, e.g.: RT-PCR, RT-LAMP, TMA, HAD, NEAR, CRISPR, SDA.....) will also be considered valid.

Check for updated link below.

Thank you for the replies

So to be clear

To enter

I need a proof of vaccination

A health certificate with a QR code

To Leave

Which test do I need

And do I have to book a PCR test before I leave for day 2 when I’m home

And fill in a passenger locator form

An antigen test on departure with the documentation fit to fly will do. We’re getting it at the airport but on the 5 September when we fly back there were  only a few slots left. It costs €25 pp, you pay on line.
on return we’ll need another PCR test but haven’t sorted this yet.

I'll say this is correct at the time of writing the response but...

For travel from UK to Spain

- PCR Test no later than 48hrs before you land in Spain (Need confirmation of negative result)

- Either use your NHS App to prove double jabbed, or print of the created pdf from the app (This is valid for 30 days from printed)

- Complete Spanish locator form

For travel from Spain to UK

- Antigen test (As mentioned previously is acceptable) as your 'Fit to fly' test, need to show this negative result at checkin desk.

- Will also need proof of double jab, again use NHS app or Print off (Valid for 30days from printing)

- Complete UK locator form (Checked that this is complete at UK immigration)

- Order (At this point of writing) a Day 2 test from Randox or equivalent, purchasing this online will give you a confirmation email of which a unique reference number will be given that you need to  include in your UK passenger locator form in order to complete.

- Currently if your double jabbed no need toi self isolate in the uk unless your day 2 test comes back positive.

Think thats it. ;-)

Yes rapid antigen test ok to come back  and day 2 pcr must be booked whilst away as you need the code for the uk gov locator form to cine home

You do not need pcr to go to Spain if double jabbed
