Padron and related matters

I am an EU citizen and UK taxpayer. I have been in Spain for for a good part of this year and own a home in Alhaurin El Grande.

I am not ready to become tax resident although I think it might be wise for me to engage a gestor sooner rather than later. Recommendations in that regard would be welcome (preferably someone in AEG).

Is there any downside in me applying for a padron?

Finally, I am trying to learn Spanish and feel that I will only progress if I have lessons with a native speaker. Again recommendations of people in AEG would be appreciated.

Spanish taxes explained - Taxadora.com

You can do it all on line and these people above and will answer all your questions by Email - the law 'after 6 months living here you are a Spanish Tax resident', the same most of the world, UK too.
