Spain has introduced the requirement that travelers from the UK need to have evidence of COVID vaccinations to enter Spain from 1st December https://www.surinenglish.com/spain/spain-introduces-international-20211127143733-nt.html

As far as I know Spain has required proof of vaccination for months.

I had my NHS vaccination proof letter when I came in August and November.

Only had my Spanish locator form scanned, never asked to see proof of vaccination

I think the Spanish government  need to get a grip nobody should be told they can't  enter a country unless you are vaccinated it's getting beyond ridiculous.

Their country, their rules, seems okay to me

Sooo happy for you Jeffers! Just so you know (with your “I’m alright Jack” attitude) 12-15 year olds are only being offered one vaccination in the UK. This is not accepted in Spain.

Which means that myself and my two boys cannot get to our lovely home for Christmas this year. Christmas is a tough time of year for us anyway and after last year we were really hoping to visit our “Spanish family”.

Sadly, this is not meant to be. I just wish selfish people would not make comments like this which can really hurt other people.

So, thanks for making me really sad on a Monday morning!

I hope you have a lovely day.

There are people out there that have had vaccines and have still died and became very ill. What nakes you think this "wonder drug" is working particularly when they have to introduce a booster the scientists are not even sure themselves.

Happy Christmas

Chill out all. I think the rules of the summer are in play. So EITHER PCR negative result OR proof of vaccination. Check uk gov site for Spains entry requirements. In summary you should be able to go to SPAIN just not straight forward as we’re all getting used to these days. 👍🏻

It also says nationals from 3rd countries,e.g. the U.K. can’t enter Spain unless they live in Spain.https://www.mscbs.gob.es/en/profesionales/saludPublica/ccayes/alertasActual/nCov/spth.htm
