I would like to inform you that the tax office are reviewing income tax returns especially owners of properties in the region of Casares as they have noticed that the cadastral value of properties in the region of Casares have not been reviewed since year 2008 by the Town Hall, and therefore calculations for income tax returns are to be calculated exceptionally by applying a 2% tax rate instead of the 1.1% which is the regular applicable percentage used in order to calculate all income tax returns. They are therefore carrying out tax inspections and requesting an extra amount payable for income tax returns for years 2018 onwards, as they can only go back 4 years as the rest years tax returns are expired.
