Electricity prices
I want to change my electricity supplier from Endesa.
Which is the best alternative and the expected savings on price.
Before you change you should contact the other company and send them a copy of your latest bill. They will then be able to tell you what it would cost with them. I did this and the other company were over 30€ more expensive. Do you have a “happy tiempo “ with Endesa? If so it may be better to stay with them. Good luck
I decided against applying for residency and so my time in Malaga Province is restricted.
Hitherto (excluding the ridiculous process required to get a domestic electricity supply upgraded) Endesa had been acceptable in both pricing and meter reading/payment collection activity
However, last year I noticed that for the extended periods when I was absent, hefty usage invoices were being debited to my bank a/c. For the first time they were based on usage ‘estimates’
A couple of years ago Endesa created a ‘distribution’ subsidiary EDISTRIBUCION REDES DIGITALES S.L.with the with the primary objective of rolling out digital supply and metering.
But. This outfit is now described by Endesa as being my ‘Distributor’ and is the entity which must be contacted with issues.
Meanwhile will ‘actual’ readings and accurate bank a/c direct debits continue to be as rare as hen’s teeth?

I had Endesa too, but right now I have a contract with Iberdrola, which is much better than Endesa

Hi
Considering the Mediterranean climate is it not an option to consider going “off grid”. It’s simplistic I know and would require further technical research, but surely solar panels linked up to a suitable generator would save you money in the long term?
