Lost: Lost wallet and phone in Calahonda

Hi, I lost my wallet (light beige Marc Jacobs) that had my bank cards, driving licence and work key card and my phone Samsung S10 on Friday night 18th February. I cancelled my bank cards and barred my phone number immediately for security reasons. I was in a bar called Dempseys located in Dona Lola, Calahonda. I checked in the bar on the Saturday but no luck and I called the central number for the taxi company several times but they said nothing was found. A woman from my home town is staying in Calahonda this week and kindly offered to bring my items home for me if found. I didn't think to check with the local police station in Mijas, would it be worth checking to see if someone found them and handed them in I wonder? Have items ever been retrieved before this way? Any advice would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
