Good morning all, this is my first post on here. I am John and retired and about to head to Calahonda to stay for three months. I am planning to keep pretty busy while I am there playing golf, walking and travelling around. However I would like to start to learn some Spanish. I don’t want anything too intense but maybe a couple of hours a week. So if anyone has any thoughts in the best way to start, it would be very much appreciated. Regards John

Thanks for getting back to me Judith, much appreciated. That sounds ideal to get me started and a good place for breakfast by the sound of it. 😀

Download the app Duolingo on to your phone.  It's amazing. I've been using it for 2 months doing just 10 minutes a day and I couldn't be happier with my progress.  It is free to use but you can upgrade to premium. I haven't and am happy.

There is also Memrise which again is free but also has a premium package.
