Hi, we are in our 1st Yr of NLV living in Benalmadena pueblo and would like to know how many days we are allowed out of Spain in the 1st Yr and /or first 5yrs . Also does this apply to just outside Spain or EU . Many thx in advance for all replies much appreciated.
My understanding is no more than 10 months in the first 5 years.

You can be out of Spain for up to 6 months in any one year but with the temp TIE you must not be out of Spain for more than 10 months in total during the first five years. Any longer than that and you will be breaking the rules for the NLV.
