Covid tests
Hi where’s the best and cheapest place in Benalmadena area for a Covid test, the airport is €58 euros but can’t be bothered to go all the way there.
I think Xanit do them for €90 does anyone know anywhere cheaper please?
Thanks

The €58 is for a pcr. You only need an antigen. At the airport €24. Cheapest place

The cheapest Covid-19 test is, without doubt, Euro 24 at Malaga Airport. Most pharmacies no longer provide the tests and clinics are expensive.
We accepted the services of Dr Fabrizio Marchionni, a physician in Estepona, who speaks fluent English.
Dr Marchionni visits you where you are staying, arriving by Harley-Davidson, and it just took 5 to10 minutes
That saved a 200 km return drive to the airport for us. He charged Euro 50 for each of us ie Euro 100 for both and accepts payment by card.
You can contact him by mobile and/or by WhatsApp on +34 607 181 836. He prefers WhatsApp.
Another advantage is we got the test just less than 72 hours before the flight. That gave us the peace of mind of knowing that we would be allowed onto the flight.
We have been double jabbed with the Pfizer BioNTech vaccine, which protects you from serious illness and/or death, however, it does not prevent infection especially by the Delta-variant.
After 19 July 2021, flying from Spain to the UK you will still need the preflight Antigen test and Day 2 PCR test and, therefore, there will not be that much change.

does the Doctor go to La Cala? and how much notice does he need . We travel from uk to Malaga on 2nd Aug for 1 week. Our flight from Malaga to London is on 8th August. We are still a bit unsure of the full process of being allowed to fly. We have both had our 2 jabs

Just SpTH firm to complete to go in. It needs -amongst over things the vaccine you had and the final date of completion
Home - Book an antigen at the airport 2. 1/2 hours before you travel back. Results come through quickly. You will also need to book a day 2. COVID pcr test for back in UK

Hi Lorraine
I have no idea, however, if you save his details into your contacts, including his number +34 607 181 836, then you can send him a message on WhatsApp.
In our case, he responded within 10 or 15 minutes and visited us at home, for the tests, the next day. So I am sure he will be able to accommodate you.
Best wishes
Philip
