Hope someone can help
My internet banking with Bankia has just started working again and I see 14 eu monthly fee being taken
Googled and found that this is a common practice with overseas customers by Bankia
All I have is the usual council, tax, water and community charges by direct debit
Can anyone suggest an alternative - cheaper - bank and let me know how to change these direct debits or how to pay online?

have a look at starling bank looks promising to me this is a new bank , worth a look at. Cheers Ian Part time Malaga.

Thanks - is this Starling in the UK or do Starling also operate in Spain?

It is British but they do do world banking. I am just about to transfer my business account to them, Then I will transfer my Spanish bank as I am with Caja Sur local branch closed down, Cant be doing going down in to Malaga in all that madness. It can all be done on line. Cheers Ian.
