Sorry for your loss but glad to know you're ready to welcome another into your life.
This isn't in anyway a put down but there are so many dogs in Spain that are looking for good homes & so many poorly treated dogs used for breeding. I volunteer in a rescue in La Linea & see it first hand. If you think you might like to consider a rescue dog or puppy please let me know & I can pass on details.
