One day my wife and I would like to take early ish retirement to Nerja. We'd both like to carry on doing some work, my wife is particularly kean. She has her own small care and personal assistance business but wondered if this type of work is required in and around Nerja?
If you are from the UK Brexit will mean you will have no right to work, run a business or live in a European country. There have been no rules and regs agreed yet but it is likely as a non EU citizen you will need long stay visas, work permits etc as non EU people such as American do. It is likely that you will also need a specific income to apply for non EU residence (TIE).
It would be advisable that you move here before December and apply for residency.
