Hi

Does anyone know if the authorities will allow UK citizens to cross the border from Spain into Gibraltar for a prebooked flight to the UK ?

i believe the border is closed except certain workers etc but unsure about travellers with flights booked

It's my understanding that they will. Obviously have all of your documentation with you as you will almost certainly be stopped en route and of course at the border so you need to be able to prove why you are out, where you are going and why. Good luck!

Hi

My sister had a flight from Gibraltar on Saturday which was cancelled and she was put on a “rescue” flight on Sunday 24th  - check your flight is still available before you leave - having said that she had no problem crossing the border.   She had to show her passport  and boarding pass though to prove she had a flight.

Hope this helps and you get home safely.

I doubt there are many locations in UK better than Alcazaba. If you have TV/netflix/prime video or suchlike, then best stay where you are. Almost certainly you would have to be quarantined on arrival; we are in Sinfonia del Mar and couldnt be better. Good Luck whatever you do.

Why are you quoting me? I was simply answering the OP's question to the best of my ability.....

HI

Just an update to current regulations. Provinces now open again  so can travel from Malaga to Cadiz again

Border is now open again from 21/06/2020 to all Non-Residents to cross over into Spain
