Above ground swimming pool

Hi We are in the process of buying a house in Antequera with a small 5x5 dip pool. I wanted to build a swimming pool but have been told by our estate agent and our solicitor that we are unlikely to get planning permission.

What is the problem with swimming pools? Inground or above ground?

So I'm looking into getting an above ground temporary swimming pool. Does anyone else have one of these? Can you get deep ones and just build a decking structure round them?

We're going over in 2weeks and meeting someone from a pool company in Antequera. I am after a lap pool that is landscaped using decking to make it blend in. Thinking of adding a jacuzzi next to it.

Bonus is that it's cheaper! So more euros to buy nice loungers etc! I'll let you know what I think when we get back.
