Firstly, if you do not speak Spanish then getting a job in Spain will not be VERY easy.
However, if you are very determined, resourceful and lucky you may find a perfect situation. No one can predict because you may have unique skills to offer an employer.
Generally speaking though unemployment is high in Spain but this cannot predict the outcome of a very determined person to find work.
Why not take a trip to where you want to be for 2 weeks and connect with businesses in the area with your resume to see what is about?
Of course this virus has put a damper on everything for the time being.

The thing with Spain is that the wages are pretty low and hours are very long, plus you need to be a fluent Spanish speaker. Try something like online work.

Thankyou for your advice.
My intention would be to learn the language.
I'm a city and guilds qualified dog groomer and would be hoping to my my name out there to the ex pat dog owning community.
I'm looking at the mobile home sites in the surrounding areas such as Saydo Park amongst others.
I obviously need to visit the areas.
Would only want to work part time and groom ideally.
Thanks

Hi Kerri,
I used to work for City and Guilds writing courses for them and I was an examiner as well, so I know you have a good level of competency.
There are loads of ex-pats here with dogs and dog grooming is quite a thing out here, so try advertising in a paper like The Sur, a free newspaper for Andalucia. I live 30 minutes outside Malaga, so you could get quite busy around southern Andalucia. You may even get a small house for the prices Saydo charge.
Good luck
Kevin
