As a Registered Mental Health Nurse I understand the impact of suicide. Mental health awareness is great in so much that it brings it to the forefront. The important part is to help people understand how their mind works to create a reality that continually reinforces the deficits that an individual wants to escape from. Then to help them find a better sense of self and connection to others.
