We took an antigen test at Clinica Santa Cecilia in Nerja to return to the UK in June, cost 45euros each and paper certificate provided within 15 mins. Ring to arrange - they speak English.

We found that Malaga airport was fully booked. Decided to have a PCR test and get straight through to Coin Salud.  Cost is 100 Euro but easy to book and walked straight in. Results emailed within 4 hours - excellent.

Be careful what you book in UK for the Day 2 test though . There were loads listed so we chose a cheaper one at random . You get a confirmation number and a note from DPD delivery - all sounds good. However, we got back to UK and it never arrived. Phoned up and after 20 minutes got a feeble response. Sent emails etc...nothing! The company are Expert Medicals - DO NOT USE THEM - IT IS A SCAM

There is a lot of confusion over these tests you only need the approx 40 euro antigen test for the UK. As I said earlier we used Dante for the day 2 Day 8 at 64 euro, excellent service from them.

We recently got a lateral flow test for travel to the UK (two weeks ago). We went to the Centro Medico clinic adjacent to El Zoco in Calahonda. You can book a test by telephoning but I walked in to book as I was passing anyway. Cost was €50 each and the results were available within 10 minutes you get a paper 'fit to fly' certificate to show the the airline. Test administered by Doctor - very thorough.

Shows how costs vary, I hit the 9 instead of the 0 in my previous comment ours were 40 euro in Torrox and I see someone paid 45 in Nerja just down the road.

Yes I advise avoiding RANDOX because the UK delivery is unreliable and you need to be in a reasonable distance from their collection boxes . The Randox website tells you where they are but I assumed the sample would go through the post as NHS samples do …

I shall be using this company as I have a friend that has used them.

I had booked an Antigen test at Malaga Airport for 10.15 being some 2 hours prior to departure. I was surprised to find no queue in either the ‘Appointments’ or ‘No Appointment’ sections. 

The paperwork took two minutes and I walked straight into the testing room and then ambled down to Ryanair

The emailed test result arrived just as I arrived at the Ryanair desks - now at the far end of the Terminal, close to security 

NOTE: Despite having only item of hand baggage and despite having uploaded both the Passenger Locator Form + Vaccination barcodes to Ryanair it was still necessary to present the negative Covid test at the check-in desk (for whatever reason the check-in desk had no access to my time consuming uploads)

The outcome was that an excellent Spanish lady inspected my certificates and printed a boarding pass replete with a green sticker.

The sticker confirmed to the security staff that all Covid requirements has been sanctioned by the airline

Hi, we had our LFT before leaving Spain (2 days before we were due to fly back to Wales)  at Helicopteros Sanitorius in Manilva for €65 (€10 less if you are a member) it was simple and straightforward, the doctor done the swab and we had the letter confirming negative result within 15 minutes. We didn’t need to pre-book the appointment and it met all the standards. I believe there are cheaper venues, but this suited us as near to our apartment and we didn’t want any queries over the test or confirmation letter.

We had already applied for the NHS PCR prior to coming to Spain for our return (Welsh rules for an NHS test)  and it arrived by post the day we came back -this was £68, which we need to complete tomorrow (on day 2 of coming back- you discount the day you arrive) and simply swab and post it back in the box they provided in a postbox that accepts Covid tests (Royal Mail will advise online where the nearest postbox is for this purpose and what time it needs to be posted back by) we have had to register our information and the details of when we will be posting the test online. All pretty straight forward and now we have done it once, we will be much more aware and confident next time.

Do you need any documents to fly to Spain other than proof of 2 Covid-19 Vaccination via the app.? (If fully vaccinated).
