After looking into the hefty bill we would get to get a removal company in to take our furniture etc from the uk to Spain we have decided to do it ourselves! Has anyone else done this themselves? Is it possible to rent a large van from the Uk and return in Costa del Sol? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you

It's not that simple, note now UK outside of the EU you need all the correct 'customs paperwork' or you will have to Pay VAT on the value of the goods imported into Spain. Try this firm below, you can save if your belongings part of a larger shipment, they will sort all the paperwork, if you do yourself you will need all the correct paperwork.

Note although this states Finland,, the same for Spain, these are the EU rules for moving personal belongings.
