Hi

We are moving to Spain soon and have lots of questions to ask and thought this would be the best place to start! Can anyone recommend Health Insurance ? What is the usual cost for this service ? And does health insurance include dental? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you

Hi there

Try this Health Insurance Card as well.  A couple of my friends have joined up and are very happy with using this Card for their Medical & Dental concerns.

I used a 'sort of Gestor' for my first health insurer whom increased their rates every year.  It ended up costing me alot to get out of it because of timing.

I would recommend definitely talk to a broker before signing up with any health insurer to make sure you are really getting what you need. They know the 'system' and you learn.  Search engines are very controlled these days so getting all the options for anything you search for is more and more difficult (ie, you just get the big names in results).

Hi Kerri,

Because I was with BUPA in UK went direct to Sanitas here, (the same group), I was shocked the cost 'just 28%' of what paying in UK. The service and facilities have been brilliant. 'I just had the first renewal and risen by just 6 Euro' . (They also pick up the tab from most of your nearest private facilities) I did not use a broker just went direct, customer service excellent and in English.

Have a good Easter.
