Spanish driving licence not received and agent who arranged it not responding to emails
Last year I paid a British agent who arranges residencia, transfer to Spanish licence plates, driving licence transfer etc, to convert my UK drivers licence to a Spanish one. He stated the licence would arrive to my Coin P.O box
At that time I was residing in Malaga province, but shortly after I moved back to my house in Cordoba, and was very soon unable to leave the house, to check the P.O. box, as my Mother's dementia markedly worsened, and she developed bilateral lower limb paralysis. Subsequently, travel restrictions kicked in as well. When they lifted, and my Mother went to live in a residencia, I found no licence had arrived in the P.O. box, and the agent is deflecting my requests for information about what happened, when or if a new licence would arrive, and ignoring my wassapps and emails. He was pre paid for the work.
Obviously I have to go to the police myself now, to sort this out.
Are driving licences arranged from the traffico office in Malaga, or locally, i.e. Coin? I have my medical exam papers, and a certificate of permission to drive from last year, but am duly concerned about the 30.6 cut off date for the U.K to Spanish conversion of the licence.
I am still resident in Cordoba.
Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you.
