Hi All I am staying in Alhaurin el Grande at the end of this month and my husband thinks there is a bus just outside the Airport which goes to Alhaurin is there? Or will we have to go into Malaga?

Any help appreciated

Hiya.  Yes the bus from Malaga city to alhaurin el grande goes near the airport but it's not easy to find the bus stop.  You might be better getting the train to Malaga.  Get off at Maria zambrano station and walk across to malaga's bus station from there (3 mins). A taxi would probably cost you about 35 euros.

Thanks Teresa it's an early flight so that is why we thought we would take the bus because we dont check into apt until 3 and might be nice to see the area so will do as you suggested.

Thanks again :)

Hi been to alhaurin de la torre today and the bus you need is M133 and they are about every 20-30 mins.  There are lots of shops in the shopping centre where Maria Zambrano is, if you need to kill some time.  There are also cafes and restaurants round about too. Enjoy your holiday.  T
