Walking Group

Hi, take a look at the axarquia hash house harriers (AH3) a lovely griyp of people who meet up every other sunday mainly around the vinuela / torre neck of the woods.

It's a bit like hair and hounds, a hare lays a trail of flour blobs and you have to follow them to the halfway point for water / beer / crisps, all the healthy stuff. Then continue to the end where stories are shared and a laugh is had. You can run it (but you will be fined for showing off) most sensible people walk it / take their dogs and chat' once we finished we all meet in a local bar or restaurant for a bite to eat. Members of this group also go walking etc. A great social bunch of people. Check the ah3 website. The menu on the left of the home page will give details of when / where the next meet is..... 

Many thanks Gaz....we'll check it out. Looking to spend a lot of time in our Spanish Casa next year so if the group is still going strong then would love to get involved to meet new people. We will be brisk walkers......at top speed !!

Guaranteed it will still be going next year. Been going for years...might see you there...I have some properties in Sedella, just above canillas, selling one of them but will live in the other... 

The group is great for a bit of social fun and laughs...

Happy to tie up with normal walking next year if we're  out at the same time. I did a lot of walking guiding in the area when I was out here permanently. Lots of great walking routes to do ranging from fairly easy to full on 2 day altitude stuff...
