Hi, I am a 67 year old guy thinking of relocating to the Antequera area at either Saydo park, La Posada or La vina any advice would be very appreciated. Regards Geoff.

Hello, I have recently purchased a home on the saydo park and have just spent 3 weeks there. All the people I met there were very friendly, and the park is very well maintained. Please be aware though that it does get very cold overnight

Thanks very much for the advice. Might i ask if many of the owners live there all year round.

Hi Geoff,

If you go to the caravansinthesun website you can get a lot of information.

We have recently been to Antequerra to look at Residential Home Parks, we didnt go to La Posada as it is quite a way inland, further than La Vina and that is 45 mins from Malaga. We quite liked Saydo and met some very friendly people while we were looking around, but didnt see a home that we liked.

So we have just bought a home on La Vina and are moving into it in May, so hopefully we will settle nicely in :).

Thanks very much for the information and i hope you will be very happy in your new home. I have recently visited Saydo and like you did not find a home that suited. I also visited La Posada which i liked and put an offer in on a home there which was rejected so having a rethink at present.

Thanks again for your reply.

Kind regards Geoff.

I've just bought a home on Antequera Spa Park (Pueblo Fiesta) hoping to move in middle of March. I can't wait.

Costa Del Pardise have several for sale on Antequera Spa. Perhaps there would be something more suitable for you there.

I have visited Antequera Spa and it appears to be a smaller / quieter park than Saydo.

It has a small bar/restuarant, hairdresser, spa, gym, swimming pool and crazy golf.

It is 5 minutes walk to/from the village of Mollina with lots of shops, bakery, bars & restaurants and apparently there is a shortcut through the park to the large Dia supermarket.

Hope this helps.

Hi Diane, Thanks for the reply. May I ask if you visited La Posada (Alameda) before you made your mind up. I wish you a very happy life living in Spain.

Kind regards

Geoff.

Hi Geoff

Sorry, I didn't.

I looked at Antequera Spa first and saw a home I liked so I bought it.

I was going to look at Saydo the next day but obviously didn't go, although I did go past it.

Thank you for your kind wishes and hope you find somewhere you like very soon.

I recommend looking at Costa Del Paradise website if you haven't already.

Diane

Hi Diane,

Thanks again for the update. I visited Saydo Park and La Posada in January but not either Antequera Spa or La Vina. It is a lovely area. Are you going to live there permanently or is it a holiday home.

Geoff.
