Hi all,

My name is Thereasa. Im in my late sixties and planning to spend the winter in Estapona. I was hoping to get some information on activities, events or clubs for seniors and/or recommendations for nice things to do there. I will be flying over on the 21st of January staying un Avenida México.

I would apprieate any advice or support you all could give.

Thanks all

Have a great trip and good luck. This Forum needs a better meet new friends section.

Hi Teresa,

There is the ICE club.  Not sure if this is your thing but you can check it out - The ICE Club, Estepona. Social club for English speakers.

Also there is the American Club in Estepona where people from the Gatos y Amigos organization meet.  And of course there is Adana (dog rescue).  They have weekly meetings.  You can find these groups online.  I have not personally attended them but I know they have regular activities.

I like to walk so if you are into walking send me a private message and we can hook up at some point.

Kerri

Hi Theresa, the Ladies of Spain Estepona group meet often. There are coffee mornings on a Friday in the Centro, social hour drinks on a Wednesday evening in the port and monthly lunches at various restaurants.  It is a mixed group (international, English speaking, of all ages). They have a Facebook (FB) page and you would need to join the Ladies of Spain group and then the Ladies of Spain Estepona group on FB. It is free. You are very welcome to attend the coffee morning and/or drinks. Message me if you would like details. You may also wish to join the Estepona Info & Chat group on FB as lots of people post activities there (there are a Walking group and an open sea swimming group too).  There is also a Costa Women West of Marbella Social group who meet regularly and organise activities e.g. walks, padel, lunches, afternoon tea, ceramic painting, wine tasting. Hope you enjoy Estepona as much as I do. Best wishes, Valerie
