Hello my partner and myself and two children are thinking of moving to Alora or surrounding areas

We will be renting at first and will need to work.

My partners father has lived in Alora and has Spanish citizenship.

We would like some idea on how easy hard this is going to be with children any help or advice would be appreciated also any information on schools etc

Thank you

Hi We have had a property in Alora for 13 years and things have changed for us recently. Work is hard to find here as most of the people travel to the coast for work. Renting is a good way to start as you will be able to get a full picture of the situation. It is a very nice area to live with a good train service to Malaga and the airport. Do you homework on any property you are thinking of buying do not take the local solicitor your estate agents recommends this is a big mistake. Get advice from local English speaking people but not in your local bar. At the moment the new laws are trying to help people how have illegal properties as this could lead to a demolition order being put in place and the property could be demolished.
