We retired 18month ago after running a large b/b in deepest Kent and a restuarant, rented out house for 3yrs, hopefully he’s going to buy it. Drove to melito de Porto salvo calabria last town in Italy, where we lived for 9months then moved to this area, where we have been for 6month looking to stay in Spain, for foreseeable future. Hi Jane, wow not quite as exciting as you!  Ive been a foster carer for 18 years but now in our 60s my husband has decided he wants more free time, which is sad for me but understandable.  So going from a houseful of children at Christmas time to just us is daunting, hence something totally different like Spain!

At the moment our plans are to rent a villa (as we have two dogs) for a few weeks over Christmas but as we don't know the different areas we would come over for a week in June to suss out the areas.

Fingers crossed for you that the sale happens.... very exciting for you!
