We got caught in Los Boliches high street. My wife was wearing a knapsack zip type handbag on her back. As we were walking along girl wearing a big hat stepped right in front of my wife and started taking selfies. She completely blocked my wife’s path for say 20/30 seconds. In that time an accomplice unzipped her bag on her pack took out her purse, took out her cash (about 209 euros in notes and GET THIS put the purse back!!! The upside of that is no cards were taken!! A very slick operation and like you she never felt a thing!! The high street was busy as well!!

This type of theft is rife at the moment, the weekly markets at Fuengirola are the worst place for it, I have a Spanish friend who tells me his brother,  who is a police officer, tells him there are several every week, and that's just the ones reported!.... probably no different to other busy places I suppose, it's hard when these people are so very clever at catching people who are relaxing on holiday, bit like tourists in London, they get robbed several times a minute on busy days.
